Marie-Chantal Belgravia

Born of nostalgic memories of a childhood shared with two sisters and inspired by her own five children, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece’s finely made children’s clothing cuts silks and tweeds, cottons and cashmeres into timeless pieces of tailoring perfectly designed for modern living.

Fifteen years since its inception, Marie-Chantal required a fresh perspective for a new flagship store in Motcomb Street, Belgravia. The studio’s aim was to develop a crisp, clean, playful space which respected the brand’s traditional European heritage while welcoming a modern, global audience. Working with the company’s existing palette of natural woods and brass, organic off-white linens and powdery soft neutrals, this design was refined to a signature line of elegant but simple, detailed joinery. To complement, we encouraged an enchanting, handmade show of free-drawn murals, embroidered linen stars, sweetshop candy cane glass and light pendants au Le Petit Prince – all crafted with the sparkling imagination required to take shoppers on an adventure in miniature.
